The Lord would say this morning that even as the prophet Jeremiah declared to the children of Israel “I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a hope and a future.” Those words were spoken over a country that was about to come under judgment, they were about to come under the control of Babylon and about to come under the great judgment of God because of their sin
The Lord says you are living in a time, you are living in a time where there is great trouble in the world. You are living in a time where there is great trouble all around you.
If you look into the clouds and you say the clouds are gray so a storm is coming you know a storm is probably coming but then you look and you hear the sound of thunder you say a storm is coming soon but if you see lightning in the sky you know a storm is about to be upon you I say look unto the things that are happening in the world, look at the things that are happening around you look at the lightening that is happening around you, allow it to wake you up to the things that are happening around you and yes I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, I know the plans that I have for my children but you must be able to live close to me you must be able to hear my voice no matter what comes upon your world.
If the millions that have come across your borders form an army within, and start a war within your country and those around you are being killed because of plans of evil people and I am your God in that hour you must be able to hear my voice, you must be able to follow my lead you must be able to know what to do to stay safe, I know the plans that I have for you in that hour.
Even as I knew the plans that I had for my children of Israel, even though I knew they would be under the captivity of Babylon for seventy years. I had a plan for them says God and I have a plan for you and love you and even as your pastor declared to you this morning this word that every person in this room needs to hear I say unto you my love for you is eternal, my love for you is for all of eternity and I desire for you to be able to know me in a personal and close way. This is not the hour to play games this is not the hour to put me off this is not the hour to resist the calling of my Spirit. I say unto you this is your day, this is your time this is the hour to draw close to me and to know me and to hear my voice says God. This is the hour because lightning is in the sky. Lightening is in the sky all around you-you know it is you know the hour is close toward the end is coming and I say to you today make today your day that you decide to follow me with your whole heart that you might know me that I will be able to protect you no matter what storm comes your way declares the Lord.
